If proof is needed of the competitive nature of the electronics media, just compare the price rises with the 9.2% average increase in the UK forecast by the media buying group Initiative. Although a few titles are looking for significant increases, some are keeping prices held to win more business. With the electronics industry still in a downturn, it seems inevitable that the pressure on prices will continue for the forseeable future.
