Napier attended WiCon World yesterday. This show, which is now trying to address all wireless technologies from BlueTooth and ZigBee to WiFi and WiMAX, appeared to be buzzing, despite the choice of ExCel as a venue, which in recent years proved less than successful for other smaller shows such as Embedded Systems Show.
Despite the positive view of the exhibitors, there was one thing that frustrated visitors and exhibitors alike: none of the Internet access hotspots were working! All those wireless gurus, and not one hotspot working…
