Click fraud causes Google headaches

Proving that pay-per-click ads don’t always mean that a real person is clicking through to your website, Google has been hit by complaints of click fraud, where people set up software to automatically click on Google ads to either make money or hit competitors. An interesting article was published in Wired’s January issue, and is available online.
