IEE becomes IET

The Institution of Incorporated Engineers and the Institution of Electrical Engineers will merge at the end of March to form the Institution of Engineering and Technology. IEE Review, the IEE’s flagship magazine will be re-launched as “Engineering and Technology”, with a circulation of around 160,000 members of the new institution. Although this is another indication of the strength of the publishing activities at the IET, potential advertisers need to bear in mind the fact that many of the members are not electronics engineers – and this is likely to increase as the IET continues to grow.
