The e-Legacy Awards have finally been launched with editorial coverage and direct email. Electronic Product Design (EPD) has decided to break away from the traditional “best widget” and “nicest company” approach to awards, focussing on products and companies that will make a lasting difference. With categories to recognise environmental achievements and products that enhance society – such as medical devices – the awards will carry a very difference cachet to those from other publishers’ gongs. We are certainly looking forward to the awards lunch, which should, given the categories, be attended by the nicest people in the industry. Additionally the event on Thursday 1st November will also be held at Tate Modern, a fantastic location. For help in preparing an entry, contact Napier.
