Embedded World managed to pull off its expansion into another hall in great style. Not only did the number of exhibitors grow by about 20%, but all the halls were busy. By splitting up the hardware vendors, the traffic through the two “software” halls was significantly up on previous years, without appearing to reduce the numbers looking at the latest processors and boards.

In 2001 Mike acquired Napier with Suzy Kenyon. Since that time he has directed major PR and marketing programmes for a wide range of technology clients. He is actively involved in developing the PR and marketing industries, and is Chair of the PRCA B2B Group, and lectures in PR at Southampton Solent University.
