The organisers of National Electronics Week have announced that they will be running an international electronics pavilion at DSEi 2011. Quite a few electronics component suppliers – from semiconductors to power suppliers – have successfully exhibited at the show in the past, but the vast size and diverse range of exhibitors can make it difficult to get the right visitors.
I think that an international electronics pavilion is a great idea: not only will it make it easier and more cost-effective to exhibit at the show, but good promotion will almost certainly draw more visitors to the pavilion than any one exhibitor could do on their own.
