The 8th LABAT, the European conference on Lead-Acid battery technology, will be held at the Flamingo Grand Hotel in Albena, Bulgaria on 7th to 10th June 2011. Despite the development of new battery chemistries, lead-acid remains the technology of choice for many applications, due to its low cost, ensuring that this venerable technology continues to have a strong future.
