Messe München International is launching a new show, Energy Storage, autumn 2012. It’s planned to be an annual event, which will run concurrently with electronica or productronica.
It’s good news to see Messe München investing in a new event, and there is no doubt that the topic of battery and energy storage technology is a great one to choose. However running the show in parallel with closely related events risks diluting the identity of Energy Storage. It will be interesting to see if it really can carve out its own niche, particularly during the electronica years.
