Congratulations to Gail Purvis, who has been named Europe Editor at PSD. She has been tasked with serving as the primary point of editorial contact for Europe-based companies and will contribute to the magazine’s Europe and North America editions and to the English-language website.
Gail’s journalism career spans Europe and South Africa, including spells at Photovoltaics, Smart Materials, European Semiconductor, and III-V Review. She was also founding editor for the public journal of Scotland’s Environmental Protection Agency, SEPA View. It’s great to see a new journlist in the world of electronic design, and her experience in semiconductor publications should help her to get up to speed quickly.
At the same time Joshua Israelsohn has been promoted from North America Editor to Editor-in-Chief. Congratulations to both Gail and Joshua on their new roles!
