Tim Probert has taken over from Gerry Woolf as Editor of Batteries & Energy Storage Technology (BEST) magazine. Gerry isn’t leaving the publication, and remains publisher of BEST. Tim has built up extensive experience freelancing as an energy journalist, and helped to launch Critical Power Online, which is dedicated to technologies that keep the lights on and vital infrastructure powered. He is actively involved in developing the PR and marketing industries, and is Chair of the PRCA B2B Group, and lectures in PR at Southampton Solent University. Mike offers a unique blend of technical and marketing expertise, and was awarded a Masters Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey and an MBA from Kingston University.
