The first Electronics Design Show, which took place alongside the Engineering Design Show and Engineering Materials Live! in Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, attracted more than 1000 visitors. With over 3000 visitors across all three shows, Findlay media must be very happy with the results! 70% of exhibitors at the Electronics Design Show have already rebooked, and with no plans to increase space next year, it looks like 2014 will see a busy show.
Whilst the space won’t be increased for the existing shows, Findlay will launch the Embedded Design Show in 2014 to address a broader range of the electronics and software market.
It’s interesting to see the Findlay approach – co-locating several specialised events, rather than trying to build one big show. Perhaps this is the way to get UK engineers away from their desks and onto the exhibition floors.
