new-mini-map-2014It’s nice to see that National Electronics Week will be back in Birmingham in 2014. The event will take place from 8th – 10th April, in Hall 2 of The NEC.

Perhaps the most significant announcement, however, is a partnership between UMR and NEW, which will bring UMR’s Embedded Masterclass under the same roof. NEW has tried several times to expand the event from its electronics manufacturing heritage, with a variety of success. Partnering with UMR will give the event some high quality technical content, which will help attract a design engineering audience. It’ll be interesting to see whether NEW can also attract exhibitors that target the same design and development audience.
