The organisers of National Electronics Week (NEW) reported that this year’s event attracted 4,300 unique visitors over the 3 days that the show was open. More importantly they have confirmed that the show will return to the NEC from 21st to 22nd April 2015. The event next year will also feature four sector events: Components & Power; Design & Test; Embedded & Software; and Production & EMS, although the show is still primarily known as an electronics manufacturing event.
With the change in format in 2013, it’s good to see that there is a strong commitment to make NEW an annual event, and I’m sure that this will increase visitor numbers. Exhibitors also seem pleased, with 40% of the booth space for 2015 already reserved by the time the show closed.
If you would like to exhibit in 2015, it’s worth booking soon, as there are special discounts that are only valid until the end of May. Check out the National Electronics Week site for more details.
