Another publication has completed the transition from print to digital distribution. Starting with the January 2011 issue, EONEWS will be a 100% digital publication. The existing quality editorial content and team continues to work on the publication and two additional sections – Dossier and virtual round table – have been added to enhance the existing content.
Whilst it is always sad to see print editions disappear, I’ve just returned from a weeks holiday, where I only read digital publications. I did take a couple of paper books and magazines, but realised at the end of the holiday that I’d spent all my reading time on the iPad (mainly using the Kindle app). I’m now convinced that once publications are formatted specifically for digital distribution it is often a better medium than paper, and it’s certainly much easier than lugging printed copies around!
