Techwatch, the Dutch publisher of Bits&Chips and Mechatronica&Machinebouw, will hold the first High-Tech Systems conference and exhibition on 24th and 25th April 2013. High-Tech Systems is the two-day follow-up to Hightech Mechatronica, a one-day show on high-tech engineering in the Netherlands that has run since 2007. The new event is supported by 12 organisations in the Netherlands and Belgium, 4 German technology networks and the matchmaking partner Enterprise Europe Network. Techwatch has also teamed up with the English language publication of the Dutch Society for Precision Engineering, Mikroniek, which will print the trade show issue of HTS 2013. With 18 other organisations supporting the event, René Raaijmakers, managing director of Techwatch, wasn’t joking when he told me that organising an event is, “all about partnerships”!
Journalists, as well as International visitors, can also take advantage of four parallel tours to companies and research institutions in the high tech regions of Eindhoven and Leuven that will be held the day before the show opens. Any interested journos should contact Techwatch for more information.
