ICC Media, publishers of Embedded Control Europe has announced the following schedule for online Web conferences (“WEBCONs”).

* April 2008 – Real-Time Operation Systems
* May 2008 – Motor Control
* June 2008 – Displays
* July 2008 – COTS
* August 2008 – Software Development
* September 2008 – Embedded Security
* October 2008 – Analog ICs
* November 2008 – Microcontroller
* December 2008 – Industrial Computing

Each WEBCON is limited to a maxmimum of six 15 minute presentations, whihc are recorded as a simple presentation with audio voiceover. I’d really like to see this idea grow, as it will create a resource of easily accessed information on specific topics, which should ensure a very relevant audience. This, coupled with the simple approach without audio and reletively low cost makes it a good investment in any embedded company’s marketing programme.
